Postdoctoral Research Fellowships: Community-Based Educational Research

NWU COMBER is recruiting two postdoctoral research fellows in Critical Higher Education Studies, with a focus on student food insecurity, hunger and homelessness.

The Community-Based Educational Research team in the Faculty of Education is offering two full-time postdoctoral fellowships. Fellows will conduct independent and collaborative research, publish, pursue research funding and participate in seminars, conferences and international collaboration.

• Conduct high-quality independent and collaborative research in Critical Higher Education Studies.
• Publish regularly in accredited journals and present findings at national and international conferences.
• Develop competitive research grant proposals and participate in research seminars and workshops.
• Contribute to collaboration and the university's international research profile.

• A PhD in Education obtained within the last five years.
• Evidence of research productivity through peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, research reports or related scholarly outputs.
• A research profile aligned with the fellowship's focus on contemporary higher-education challenges.
• Applicants should prepare the motivation, research plan, CV, publication list and supporting documents specified by NWU.
