Our client is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist specializing in Biochemistry to join their dedicated research team in Benoni . Key Responsibilities- Design, execute, and interpret biochemical and molecular biology experiments.
- Investigate protein function, enzyme kinetics, and signal transduction pathways.
- Develop and optimize biochemical assays for high-throughput screening.
- Purify and characterize proteins and other biomolecules.
- Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics tools.
- Prepare research reports, manuscripts for publication, and present findings at scientific meetings.
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of postdoctoral or industry research experience.
- Strong expertise in protein purification, enzyme kinetics, and biochemical assay development.
- Proficiency in molecular cloning, cell culture, and Western blotting techniques.
- Experience with data analysis software and bioinformatics tools.
- Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills are essential for this role in Benoni .
