• Synthesize and characterize novel materials using advanced chemical techniques and methodologies.
• Utilise a range of analytical instruments (e.g., spectroscopy, microscopy, X-ray diffraction) for thorough material characterization.
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate material performance under various conditions.
• Develop scalable synthesis routes for promising new materials, considering industrial applicability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate new materials into product development cycles.
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, prepare technical reports, and contribute to scientific publications and patent applications.

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant research experience, preferably with a focus on materials synthesis and characterization.
• Proven expertise in inorganic or organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, or solid-state chemistry.
• Hands-on experience with a broad spectrum of analytical techniques for material characterization.
• Ability to design and execute complex experiments independently and troubleshoot technical challenges.
