About the Role
Our client is looking for a creative and highly skilled AI/ML Researcher specializing in Generative Models to join their dedicated research lab in Nelspruit . You will focus on pushing the state-of-the-art in areas like GANs, VAEs, diffusion models, and large language models to create novel content, enhance data augmentation, and explore new AI capabilities. This role involves significant research, experimentation, and collaboration with a team of top AI talent.

- Conduct research and development in generative AI, focusing on models like GANs, VAEs, and diffusion models.
- Design, implement, and evaluate novel generative algorithms and architectures.
- Experiment with and fine-tune large pre-trained models for specific generative tasks.
- Analyze model outputs, identify limitations, and propose improvements for enhanced generation quality and control.
- Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to integrate generative AI capabilities into new products and services.
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated research experience in generative models, evidenced by publications in top-tier conferences/journals.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, Tensor Flow).
- Familiarity with state-of-the-advanced generative model techniques and their applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
