Research Associate - Cell Biology

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Research Associate to join their Cell Biology team in Benoni . This role is critical for supporting various research projects focused on understanding cellular mechanisms and developing new therapeutic interventions. You will perform a range of cell-based assays, maintain cell cultures, and contribute to data generation and analysis under the guidance of senior scientists.

• Perform cell culture techniques, including aseptic handling, media preparation, and cell line maintenance.

• Assist in the characterization of cellular responses to various treatments or stimuli.
• Accurately record experimental procedures and results in laboratory notebooks.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in a cell biology setting.
• Proficiency in sterile cell culture techniques and common cell-based assay methodologies.
• Familiarity with basic molecular biology techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
