Senior Research Scientist - Nanotechnology

• Utilize advanced characterization techniques (e.g., TEM, SEM, AFM, XRD, XPS) to understand material properties at the nanoscale.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to translate research findings into viable technological solutions.
• Develop theoretical models to predict nanomaterial behavior and performance.
• Mentor junior researchers and technical staff, providing guidance and technical expertise.
• Author high-quality scientific publications, patents, and technical reports.
• Present research findings at international conferences and to stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and emerging trends in nanotechnology.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and direction of the nanotechnology research program.

• PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in nanotechnology.
• Minimum of 7 years of post-doctoral research experience in nanotechnology, with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of nanomaterial synthesis methods (e.g., CVD, sol-gel, self-assembly) and characterization techniques.
• Experience in applying nanomaterials to specific technological areas (e.g., electronics, energy, biomedical).
• Strong understanding of surface science, quantum effects at the nanoscale, and material properties.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor research teams.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information clearly.
• Experience in securing research funding and managing research grants is advantageous.
• Familiarity with computational modeling of nanoscale phenomena is a plus.
