MOTOR SPARES​/STOREMAN

The Role

We are urgently looking for a full time Storeman with some motor experience to start as soon as possible.

• Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of stock activities – motor parts and paint, etc.
• Ordering of stock as required.
• Checking of orders with suppliers and chasing them up.
• Report arrival of stock to owner.
• Notifying accounts department regarding the issuing of invoices.
• Learning Vantage – a quoting system which offers a facility to download stock
• Managing and controlling costs.

• At least 3 years’ experience as a stock controller.
• Ordering of stock and motor spares knowledge helpful.
• MS Word and MS Excel required + Vantage which will be taught.
• Good communication in both English and Afrikaans.
• Good people skills and ability to be persuasive.
• Diligent, with ability to work to a system.
• A team player who can also work alone.
• A pleasant individual showing a willingness to learn.
• Demonstrated honesty in previous positions.

• Must live in the Knysna area.
