Receiving ​/ Dispatch Clerks

Primary Responsibilities of the role:

Adherence to good housekeeping practises.
Check all incoming stock according to the suppliers list kept at the receiving area.
Accurate checking and receiving of stock (product description, pack size, unit, batch number, expiry date and quantity).
Check incoming stock for damages, counterfeits and expiry dates.
Handle stock in the receiving area in a way that eliminates damages and report any such damages immediately to the receiving supervisor.
Record any stock discrepancies in the book provided.
Prioritize urgent orders.
Handover stock to the put-away department.
Participation in all stocktakes compulsory.

Any ad hoc functions as instructed by line manager.
