BAKERY MANAGER – BALLITO, KZN
Real Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Bakery Manager for an established retail business in Ballito.
We are looking for a passionate, hands‑on leader with strong bakery management experience who can lead a team, maintain excellent product standards and drive sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and develop the bakery team
- Oversee daily production, quality and freshness
- Plan production, staffing and stock requirements
- Manage budgets, stock rotation, wastage and costs
- Drive sales and profitability
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and compliance standards
- Ensure excellent merchandising and customer service
- Lead from the floor and remain actively involved
- Minimum 5 years' bakery management experience within retail/FMCG
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Sound knowledge of baking techniques and recipes
- Experience managing budgets, stock, wastage and P&L
- Matric essential
- Computer literate
- Able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
- Reside in/near Ballito or have reliable transport
Salary:
Up to R20,000 CTC per month, dependent on experience.
