About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join their busy retail location in Nelspruit . In this key role, you will work alongside the Store Manager to oversee all aspects of store operations, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards to achieve company objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring retail leader to develop their management skills and contribute to the success of a well-regarded retail brand in the Mpumalanga region.
- Support the Store Manager in all operational duties, including staff supervision, sales generation, and customer service.
- Assist in training and developing retail associates, fostering a high-performing team culture.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular stocktakes.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively to maintain satisfaction.
- Contribute to sales strategies and promotions to meet or exceed targets.
- Ensure the store is well-maintained, clean, and organized at all times.
- Previous experience in a retail leadership role, such as a supervisor or assistant manager .
- Strong sales acumen and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and managing retail inventory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate a team and drive results.
