Stockroom Associate

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and efficient Stockroom Associate to manage inventory and support operations at their retail store in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for maintaining organized stock levels, assisting with stock transfers, and ensuring that merchandise is readily available for the sales floor. You will play a vital part in the smooth running of the store by meticulously handling inventory.

• Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain the stockroom in a clean, tidy, and efficient manner.
• Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, including tagging, ticketing, and replenishment.
• Assist with regular inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or damages to management.
• Support the sales floor team by locating requested items and assisting with stock inquiries.

• Previous experience in a stockroom, warehouse, or similar inventory handling role is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving boxes.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends, in the Nelspruit area.
