About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and customer-focused Retail Sales Lead to join their team in Nelspruit . In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and mentoring junior sales staff. You will act as a key point of contact for customers, offering product expertise and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This hybrid role allows for both in-store engagement and potential involvement in remote planning for sales strategies or team training initiatives, contributing significantly to the store's success in the Mpumalanga region.

• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales targets.
• Assist customers with product selection, providing detailed information and personalized recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior sales associates, sharing product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Maintain store appearance, ensuring products are well-presented and displays are inviting.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Contribute to inventory management and stock replenishment processes.

• Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably with some leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Strong product knowledge and the ability to quickly learn new product lines.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations.
