Retail Sales Associate

Our client, a renowned retailer known for its quality products and exceptional customer service, is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate for their busy store in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This is a full-time position where you will be the face of the brand, engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and providing product expertise to drive sales. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team, contributing to a positive shopping experience and achieving store targets.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively advise customers.
• Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
• Participate in store opening and closing procedures as required.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail sales, is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for customer service and sales.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic numeracy skills and ability to handle cash and card transactions.
• Willingness to learn about products and sales techniques.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Located in or able to commute easily to Vereeniging, Gauteng.
