Location: Prieska
We are seeking a customer service-oriented Cashier to join our Sales Team. The successful candidate will manages customer checkout transactions, operates point-of-sale (POS) system, and provides front-line customer service.
- Process Transactions:
Scan product barcodes, input price codes, and handle payments via cash and card transactions. - Handle Cash & Balances:
Count change accurately, verify currency authenticity, and balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift - Customer Service:
Greet customers, answer product questions and process returns or exchanges according to store policy
- Matric / Grade 12 (additional qualification in administration advantageous).
- At least 3 years’ experience in cash handling and retail cashier experience.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (verbal and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- A commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
