Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue new Air & Sea freight opportunities within target industries and trade lanesDevelop and execute new business sales plans to achieve volume, revenue, and margin targetsBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and referralsLead customer negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalisationDrive cross-selling opportunities across DSV’s broader service offerings where applicableCustomer & Account Management
Establish trusted, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholdersUnderstand customer supply chain needs and propose tailored logistics solutionsEnsure smooth onboarding and handover to operations, maintaining service excellenceProactively manage customer performance, retention, and growth opportunitiesMarket & Strategic Insight
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within Air & Sea freightContribute to sales strategy and vertical-specific initiativesProvide accurate revenue forecasting and reporting through CRM and internal toolsInternal Collaboration
Work closely with Operations, Pricing, Customer Service, and Finance to deliver competitive and compliant solutionsEnsure adherence to DSV policies, governance, and ethical sales practicesKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)
