Minimum requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Industrial or similar).
- Technical or commercial qualifications related to engineering or steel.
- Minimum 10 years' experience within the steel industry.
- Proven sales management experience.
- Demonstrated success in growing sales and developing new markets.
- Strong business development background.
- Comprehensive understanding of steel products and their applications.
- Experience selling carbon steel plate products.
- Experience with Quenched & Tempered steels (highly advantageous).
- Good understanding of fabrication processes.
- Understanding of welding, machining, cutting and forming processes.
