Leasing Consultant

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and persuasive Leasing Consultant to join their property management team, focusing on the Nelspruit area. This role is key to filling vacancies and maintaining high occupancy rates within their portfolio of residential properties. You will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing.

This hybrid role combines remote lead management and follow-up with essential on-site tours and client interactions, offering a dynamic work experience focused on customer service and sales.

• Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits.
• Conduct professional property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting key features and amenities.
• Process rental applications, screen applicants, and verify references.
• Prepare and explain lease agreements to new tenants, ensuring all terms are understood.
• Achieve and maintain target occupancy rates through effective sales and customer service efforts.

• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, ideally within property management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.
• Familiarity with the Nelspruit rental market is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends, and manage both remote client communications and on-site tours.
• A professional demeanor and strong organizational abilities.
