Position: Internal Sales Representative - 6-Month Temp Assignment
Location: Boksburg

Key Responsibilities Sales Support

Respond to incoming customer enquiries via telephone and email regarding pump products, rental solutions and related services.
Assist customers by identifying their requirements and recommending suitable products or solutions.
Support the external sales team with enquiries, leads, quotations and the closing of sales opportunities.
Follow up on quotations and customer enquiries to assist in converting opportunities into sales.
Promote the company's product and rental offering to existing and prospective customers.

Quotations & Order Processing

Prepare accurate and timely quotations for equipment sales, rentals and services.
Process customer sales orders and ensure all relevant information and documentation is captured correctly.
Confirm product availability and communicate expected delivery or collection timelines to customers.
Liaise with procurement, logistics and service departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
Follow up on outstanding quotations, orders and customer requirements.

Customer Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide professional, responsive and efficient customer service.
Maintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat business and build long-term relationships.
Assist with customer concerns, queries and complaints and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Technical & Product Support

Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's product range, including submersible pumps, surface pumps, dewatering equipment, slurry pumps, dredging equipment and rental solutions
.
Assist customers in selecting appropriate pumps and equipment according to their application and operational requirements.
Provide customers with relevant product information and technical guidance.
Remain up to date with product developments, applications and relevant industry trends.

CRM, Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, enquiries, quotations, orders and follow-ups on the CRM system.
Track sales opportunities and provide regular updates to the Sales Manager.
Assist with sales forecasts, reports and customer activity information.
Ensure customer and sales information is accurate and kept up to date.

Team Collaboration

Work closely with external sales representatives to provide customer information, leads, quotations and sales support.
Liaise with logistics and service teams regarding deliveries, equipment availability and technical support.
Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently.
Assist with customer campaigns and the promotion of new products and services where required.

General Administration

Assist with the preparation of sales agreements, rental contracts, proposals and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate and organised sales records.
Ensure all customer communication is professional and aligned with company standards.
Perform additional sales and administrative duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

A relevant tertiary technical qualification is essential, preferably a Trade qualification, Electrical qualification or Mechanical qualification.
Previous experience in internal sales, preferably within the industrial, mining, pumps, engineering or equipment rental sectors.
Technical knowledge and understanding of pumps, dewatering systems and/or related industrial equipment.
