Who are we looking for:

An experienced Business Development Manager with a strong FMCG background, a proven track record in B2B sales and an established network across South Africa’s food and beverage industries. You’ll be commercially sharp, relationship-driven and confident in securing high-value strategic accounts.

What will you do:

Drive B2B growth across food service, manufacturing, wholesale, institutional and industrial markets.
Identify new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
Secure and manage strategic national accounts and long-term partnerships.
Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contracts and supply agreements.
Support the commercial launch of a new manufacturing facility by securing key customers and volume commitments.
Drive revenue, profitability, customer retention and market expansion.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver commercial targets.

What will you need:

8–15 years’ experience in FMCG business development.
Strong knowledge of the South African FMCG market, particularly food and beverages.
A proven track record in winning national accounts and launching new markets or brands.
Extensive commercial negotiation and strategic account management experience.
An established industry network and exposure to manufacturing environments.
A degree in business, marketing or commerce.
An MBA would be advantageous.
Strong financial acumen, leadership skills and a results-driven mindset.
