Armed Reaction Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly disciplined, alert, and experienced Armed Reaction Officer to join our security team. The successful candidate will be responsible for rapid response to alarm activations, crime prevention patrols, and ensuring the safety of clients and their property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergency calls.

• Conduct visible patrols and surveillance in designated areas.

• Assess and manage security risks on-site.

• Provide incident reports, statements, and necessary documentation.

• Liaise with SAPS, emergency services, and control room operators.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.

• Maintain professional conduct and a high level of situational awareness at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.

• PSIRA Registered – Grade C or higher (Grade B/A advantageous).

• Valid firearm competency (handgun / shotgun / rifle).

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an Armed Reaction Officer.

• Valid driver’s licence (Code 08) and ability to drive in stressful situations.

• No criminal record (criminal checks will be conducted).

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).

• Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

• Physically fit and able to handle high-pressure situations.
