ResponsibilitiesWhat we’re looking for: We're looking for a Site Security Coordinator based at Isando Plant Snacks. Main purpose of the role:
As directed by the Business Unit leadership, the Global Security Director (SA) and in collaboration with the Pepsi Co Office of Global Security, ensure that the premises allocated to, benefit from effective and sustainable security programs that mitigate risk to our people, assets and objectives while protecting Pepsi Co Brands.Execute operational implementation of strategic planning as directed by Security Director – Global Security (SA) in conjunction with Area Security Manager and/or Assistant area Security ManagerPhysically located in Isando, Gauteng, South Africa, the role would serve as a Business Unit asset in responding to all emerging security risks and incidents on the allocated and dedicated premises.Role will be responsible for the protection of our people and Assets in Gauteng. Three (3) Premises . FTE of 800.Accountabilites:
The tasks of the Site Security Coordinator include and are not limited to the following:
In line with the Country broader strategy, implement the Site Security Plan to identify, assess and mitigate risks to Pepsi Co’s associates, facilities, proprietary information, and brand/reputation.Form part of the Site Crisis Management Team, with execution of security functions as part of the Business Continuity Plans of the premises.Ensure that the premises is compliant with the Site security plan (technological ,Procedural, Manned guarding ,Architectural )Maintain strong working relationships with, and provide consultation to, local management teams.Plan and oversee periodic security self-assessments and bi-annual security risk assessment on the premises in order to identify critical vulnerabilities and to assist in closing these risks through cost-effective, best practice security enhancements.Develop and maintain working relationships with national and local security, emergency response, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities as well as with security managers of other large multinational companies.Ensure compliance with Pepsi Co EMEA Security Risk Management System and supporting standards and procedures.Assist in delivering security awareness for Pepsi Co associates and training programs to security associates.Advise and assist before, during and after security incidents, including on-the-spot risk assessments and security advice to site leaders.Assist the Area Security Manager/Asst Area Security Manager in implementing security plans to strengthen the protection of our supply chain (Make/Move/Sell).Assist the Area Security Manager/Asst Area Security Manager in implementing security plans to strengthen the protection of our supply chain (Make/Move/Sell).Assist in Conducting and coordinate investigations to include counterfeit, extortion, contamination of our products, loss reduction, kidnapping, robberies, Speak Up, fraud, corruption, and security threats against the country’s interests and associates.During strike operations or labor disputes provide training to security guards and employees in strike protocols.Oversee security guard companies to leverage economies of scale and lower…
