Aviation Security Manager

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Aviation Security Manager to lead their security operations at the airport in Nelspruit. This crucial role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive security strategies to protect passengers, staff, assets, and aircraft. You will be responsible for managing security personnel, ensuring compliance with all aviation security regulations, and responding effectively to security incidents. This position requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of security protocols, and the ability to maintain a secure environment in a high-traffic setting.

• Develop and implement robust aviation security policies and procedures.
• Manage and supervise a team of security personnel, including training and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant national and international aviation security regulations (e.g., ICAO Annex 17, CATSA standards).
• Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate security threats.
• Oversee screening operations, access control, and surveillance systems.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.

• Proven experience in aviation security management or a related security leadership role.
