Overview

Badisa Tygerberg is a programme of Badisa, a joint ministry action of the Dutch Reformed Church (Western Cape) and URCSA (Cape Town).

Badisa Tygerberg is currently looking to employ a full-time Social Auxiliary Worker. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, responsible, and motivated individuals who endorse Badisa’s values ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).

• Assessing the needs of the community
• Ensure that services are delivered on the Meso and Macro levels to the community
• Planning of programmes for the community
• Presenting group work and community work programs to the community that address the needs of the community
• Social Auxiliary Work Administration
• Networking with community role players
• Manage Workload

• Grade 12 / Matric (qualification in administration would be beneficial or an advantage).
• Relevant experience in Social Auxiliary work
• Computer proficiency: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint)
• Time Management and Multitasking
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work within a team, as well as independently
• Professionalism, a helpful and friendly attitude
• Verbal and written communication, is of utmost importance
• Be fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Driver's licence
