Bridge House School are looking to recruit an Designated Safeguarding Lead to join our SLT team.
Bridge House is seeking an experienced, values‑driven Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) to join our team. This is a pivotal role for a highly skilled safeguarding professional who is passionate about protecting and advocating for vulnerable children and young people.
As Designated Safeguarding Lead, you will have strategic and operational responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across all three school campuses. You will lead on complex and high‑risk safeguarding cases, working closely with pupils who present challenging behaviour and have experienced trauma, families, staff, and a wide range of external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience working with complex safeguarding cases, ideally within education, SEMH, or specialist provision as well as hold (or be willing to obtain) accredited Designated Safeguarding Lead training.
