Our client is looking for a compassionate and skilled Social Worker specializing in Child and Youth Care to join their team in Vereeniging . This position is vital in providing support, guidance, and intervention services to vulnerable children and young people within the community. You will work with families to strengthen protective factors, address challenges, and ensure the well-being and development of young individuals.

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop intervention plans for children and youth in need.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and their families.
• Facilitate access to essential services such as education, healthcare, and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with schools, foster care agencies, and other relevant organizations.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of children and youth within legal and social systems.
• Maintain confidential case records and document progress accurately.

• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree or equivalent qualification.
• Registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions (SACSSP).
• Proven experience working with children and adolescents in a social work capacity.
• Knowledge of child protection laws, policies, and relevant legislation.
• Strong counseling, assessment, and intervention skills.
• Empathy, resilience, and excellent communication abilities are essential.
