Family Support Advisor

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Advisor to join their team in Benoni . This role is focused on providing comprehensive support services to families facing various challenges, helping them build resilience and access necessary resources within the Gauteng community. You will work closely with families to understand their unique needs, offer guidance, and facilitate access to social services, educational programs, and healthcare.

• Maintain confidential client records and document progress effectively.

• A relevant qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Previous experience (2+ years) working directly with families in a support capacity.
• Knowledge of family dynamics, child development, and common family challenges.
• Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills.
• Ability to build rapport and trust with diverse families.
• Willingness to conduct home visits and engage with the community in Benoni.
