Expert Software Engineer / Python Developer (Cloud‑Focused)

We are seeking a highly capable Software Engineer with strong proficiency in a sought‑after programming language (Python preferred) to design, build, and maintain modern, cloud‑native application solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong software engineering fundamentals with hands‑on cloud experience and a passion for automation, quality, and continuous improvement.

We are looking for a pragmatic, quality‑driven engineer who can build robust application solutions, adapt to new technologies, and understand how cloud, software, and business needs intersect.

• Strong Python development experience (libraries, CLIs, unit testing)
• Exposure to Java
• Experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS, IAM, KMS, Cloud Watch, CDK, and Secrets Manager
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong debugging skills and commitment to clean, well‑organised code
• Experience working in Agile environments

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable application solutions using Python
• Build and maintain CLI tools and reusable Python libraries
• Develop and consume RESTful services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices (TDD/BDD)
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles and automation across environments
• Collaborate in Agile teams, contributing to planning, delivery, and continuous improvement
• Apply cloud computing technologies to solve real business problems
• Stay informed on business drivers and emerging technology trends
