This software developer plays a key role in the design, development (coding), testing and maintenance of software systems according to user requirements. The systems development life cycle will be applied throughout the development phase. The developer will primarily be using Progress as a development language.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyse the user requirementsAccurate estimation of development effort involved to produce system as per user requirementTake part in analysis and system designDevelop code that is easy to maintain and understand with quality of software and application the focusPlan, design and author test points and give guidance to quality testerPrepare accurate installation documentsParticipate in software build/release activitiesMaintenance and support of current systems and fixing of bugsAccurate progress reports as required by IT/Project managerAdditional Job Information
