Location: Turffontein

This is a hands-on, onsite role working closely with Production, Quality, and Operations teams to ensure system stability, data integrity, and effective integration between software applications, databases, and industrial equipment.
The role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working in an operational environment and taking ownership of business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core / .NET 6+)

Build internal tools, web applications, and RESTful APIs to support business processes

Develop reusable components and maintainable, scalable architectures

Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from requirements through to deployment

Integrate internal and external systems via REST and SOAP APIs

Automate business processes and data flows between disparate systems

Handle data transformation, validation, and synchronisation across platforms

Support integrations with ERP, CRM, WMS, and other line-of-business systems where required

Write and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, and views in Microsoft SQL Server

Work with ERP data structures and transactional data

Ensure data integrity and performance

Troubleshoot application issues and integration failures across supported systems

Support and improve existing solutions, addressing performance and reliability

Work with business users and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements

Participate in code reviews and follow best practices

Use version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Maintain technical documentation

Required Technical Skills & Experience

Grade 12

Minimum 3 years of .NET development experience

Minimum 3 years’ experience with .NET Core / .NET 6+, Web API’s and SQL Server

Understanding of system integration patterns and RESTful API design

Experience working with relational databases and writing optimised SQL

Ability to work independently and manage delivery across multiple tasks

Experience with SYSPRO ERP (advantageous)

Experience integrating or working with AI tools or API’s

Experience with Angular, React or Blazor and Azure

Exposure to a manufacturing, distribution or financial systems environment

Own reliable transport

Ability to communicate, understand, read and write English

Must be punctual (essential)
