About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join their innovative product development team in Benoni. This role involves crafting exceptional user interfaces and ensuring a seamless user experience across all their digital platforms. You will work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to bring visually appealing and highly functional applications to life. Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, interactive web pages.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side functions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior frontend developers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control systems (Git), and Agile methodologies.
