About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join their team in Benoni . With a strong emphasis on user experience , you will be responsible for translating design mockups and wireframes into high-quality, interactive web interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks and a keen eye for design aesthetics and usability. You will work closely with UI/UX designers and backend developers to create intuitive and engaging digital products that delight users and drive business goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into functional, high-quality code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate front-end logic with server-side functions.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and provide feedback on design improvements.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a seamless and bug-free user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer with a portfolio showcasing excellent UI/UX work.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with at least one major JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
