We’re partnering with an established organisation to find an experienced Software Development Team Lead to join their IT team and drive the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Who are we looking forWe’re looking for a technically strong leader who enjoys mentoring developers while remaining hands‑on with code. You’ll take ownership of team performance, technical standards and delivery, ensuring projects run smoothly and solutions meet business needs.
What will you doLead, mentor and develop a team of software developers.
Stay hands‑on with software design, coding and code reviews.
Oversee development using .NET, C# and REST APIs.
Plan sprints, allocate tasks and monitor progress through Azure Dev Ops.
Maintain coding standards, software quality and secure development practices.
Coordinate releases, production support and incident resolution.
Collaborate with technical architects and business stakeholders to resolve challenges.
Drive process improvements and the responsible adoption of AI development tools.
A degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
At least 7 years of software development experience, including 2 years in a team leadership role.
Strong hands‑on experience with .NET (C#), REST APIs and Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with Azure Dev Ops, Agile/Scrum and pull‑request workflows.
Experience in people management, coaching and performance development.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and clean architecture.
Vue 3, Type Script, logistics systems and third‑party integrations would be advantageous.
