About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing SaaS company in Vereeniging , is looking for a versatile Full Stack Developer proficient in both Node.js and React. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our core platform. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects, contribute to architectural decisions, and impact the user experience of a product used by businesses worldwide.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a dynamic and agile environment, contributing to innovative solutions within the Gauteng tech landscape.
- Develop and maintain robust back-end services using Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
- Build and optimize responsive user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end technologies.
- Design and manage database schemas and queries (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
- Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code for both client and server-side applications.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and agile development processes.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer .
- Strong proficiency in Node.js for back-end development and React.js for front-end development.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL and/or No
SQL). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to development challenges.
