Our client, a prominent financial technology firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive Java expertise to join their development team in Benoni . • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong emphasis on Java.
• Expertise in Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL.
• Familiarity with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Git).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and development practices.
