Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement a Fleet Management System
• Develop and implement a driver onboarding Management System
• Update Fleet Safety dashboards & create visibility of site Fleet Safety KPI’s.
• Update and implement EHS procedures through the GEHSMS program.
• Investigate and report EHS incidents related to Fleet safety, identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct fleet safety inspections, internal audit & external EHS audits.
• Conduct Driver Training including safe driving practices, regulatory requirements and emergency response.
• Data analysis, analyse data to identify trends and areas of improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to promote a safe driving culture across the organization
• Drive Fleet Safety awareness campaign

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an EHS coordinator.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OHS Act, NRTA, and all other applicable regulations in terms of EHS.
• Grade 12 plus a Diploma or Degree Qualification in EHS or Fleet related Qualification
• The ability to read and interpret EHS data EHS stats
• The ability to formulate Fleet safety improvement initiatives informed by EHS data and stats
• Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
