Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a Fleet Management System
- Develop and implement a driver onboarding Management System
- Update Fleet Safety dashboards & create visibility of site Fleet Safety KPI’s.
- Update and implement EHS procedures through the GEHSMS program.
- Investigate and report EHS incidents related to Fleet safety, identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct fleet safety inspections, internal audit & external EHS audits.
- Conduct Driver Training including safe driving practices, regulatory requirements and emergency response.
- Data analysis, analyse data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to promote a safe driving culture across the organization
- Drive Fleet Safety awareness campaign
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as an EHS coordinator.
- Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OHS Act, NRTA, and all other applicable regulations in terms of EHS.
- Grade 12 plus a Diploma or Degree Qualification in EHS or Fleet related Qualification
- The ability to read and interpret EHS data EHS stats
- The ability to formulate Fleet safety improvement initiatives informed by EHS data and stats
- Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
