Logistics Administrator - Maternity Leave at Rhodes Food Group

Duties & Responsibilities

• Capturing daily orders loaded in the Weekly Stock Movement Report
• Compiling Daily Short Report
• Issuing of Delivery Documents to drivers
• Verify the accuracy of GI and Invoices against PO
• Issuing of Daily Local Delivery Plan to local Drivers
• Daily Tracking of drivers and communicating delays to relevant parties
• Communicating of daily factory deliveries and collection to all relevant parties
• Delivery bookings with customers
• Issuing and processing of Chep Pallets Notes
• Debriefing of drivers and POD controls
• Issuing Weekly National Sales figures
• Collecting, matching, and handing in of monthly local driver diesel slips
• Reporting and updating of local truck diesel usage and maintenance cost
• Capturing and Updating RFG driver leave requests
• Assisting with customer delivery coordinating
• Assisting with Long Distance Tracking of drivers and communicating delays to relevant parties
• Assisting with exports admin

• Matric or equivalent
• Supply Chain / Logistics Qualification
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to pay attention to detail
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends when required
• Computer Literacy
• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to plan and co-ordinate all deliveries
• Trustworthy and able to work with minimum supervision
• Professional, enthusiastic, hardworking, well-organized and able to prioritize
• Able to work with others and willing to contribute to team
• Problem Solving and leadership skills
• Work at very fast pace
• Strong personality with a high sense of discipline and organizational skills
