Transport Manager - Cold room environment

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure costs are captured;
• Ensure monthly transport department expenditure is maintained within budget;
• Explain variance of budget versus actual;
• Ensure that most effective and efficient execution of the delivery schedule;
• Ensure routes are executed according;
• Ensure all daily routes are executed;
• Ensure the adequate management of fuel;
• Driver Management;
• Vehicles dispatched;
• Develop and manage high performance multi-disciplinary team;
• Uphold the company's disciplinary code of conduct at all times demonstrating fairness when dealing with discipline;
• Pass all internal and external quality audits;

• 5years' experience required in a Transport Management role;
• Grade 12 with Relevant Tertiary Diploma, Degree or, Honors Degree in Logistics and
• Transportation Management or similar;
• Experience with Cold room;
