About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Local Delivery Driver to join their team in Benoni . This role is critical for ensuring the timely and secure delivery of goods to local businesses and residents. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with excellent knowledge of the Benoni area and surrounding locales. You will be responsible for operating a delivery vehicle, managing delivery schedules, and providing excellent customer service, representing the company with professionalism and efficiency on every route.

• Deliver products to customers' premises efficiently and safely.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring they are handled with care.
• Collect payments from customers upon delivery, if applicable.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs.

• Valid driver's license, preferably Code 10 (C1) .
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) is required.
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Benoni and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
• Strong time management and customer interaction skills.
