Delivery Personnel

Our client, a growing enterprise in Vereeniging , is seeking a diligent and responsible Delivery Personnel to manage the local distribution of their products. This role is vital for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling goods, navigating local routes efficiently, and maintaining a professional image of the company. We are looking for an individual who is physically fit, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and the internal team.

• Perform timely and safe deliveries of products to customers' designated locations.
• Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring their integrity and proper handling.
• Verify delivery orders and collect payment or obtain necessary signatures upon completion.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic operational checks of the assigned delivery vehicle.
• Report any issues related to deliveries, vehicle condition, or customer feedback to the supervisor.
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules, making adjustments as necessary with supervisor approval.

• Valid driver's license (Code 10 preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a delivery or driver role.
• Good knowledge of the road networks within Vereeniging and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and carrying goods.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
