Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Goods Transporter with a Code 14 driver's license to join their busy transport division based in Vereeniging . This role involves the critical task of moving large volumes of commercial goods across various destinations, ensuring reliability and efficiency in the supply chain. You will be responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles, maintaining them to a high standard, and adhering strictly to delivery schedules and safety regulations within the Gauteng province and nationally.

• Operate Code 14 trucks and trailers for the transportation of diverse commercial cargo.
• Plan and execute daily transport schedules to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
• Perform comprehensive inspections and basic maintenance on vehicles before and after trips.
• Ensure cargo is safely loaded, secured, and protected from damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, delivery times, and any incidents.
• Comply with all national road traffic laws and company policies governing commercial transport.

• Valid South African Code 14 driver's license with an active PrDP.
• A minimum of 4 years of proven experience operating heavy commercial vehicles.
• Proficiency in navigating long-distance routes and understanding logistical challenges.
• Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics, safety protocols, and load securing techniques.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently under pressure.
