Logistics Coordinator - Supply Chain

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join their growing supply chain team in Nelspruit . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods from suppliers to customers. You will be responsible for managing transportation schedules, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate logistics documentation. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics principles and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall efficiency of the company's supply chain operations.

• Coordinate and manage daily transportation activities , including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
• Prepare and process logistics documentation , such as bills of lading, manifests, and invoices.
• Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders on delivery status.
• Resolve any logistics-related issues or discrepancies that may arise.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and transportation costs.
• Assist in optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

• Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain support role.
• Familiarity with transportation modes and logistics management principles.
• Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in logistics is a plus.
