Aircraft Dispatcher

Our client is seeking a highly organized and safety-conscious Aircraft Dispatcher to manage flight operations from their hub in Vereeniging . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for flight planning, monitoring weather conditions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with flight crews and ground personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our fleet. • Develop and approve flight plans, considering factors such as weather, aircraft performance, and air traffic control.
• Monitor flight progress, weather conditions, and operational status throughout the flight.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA rules) and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with flight crews, providing updates on operational and meteorological conditions.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and other departments to resolve any issues affecting flight schedules.
• Manage irregular operations, including diversions and cancellations, with professionalism and efficiency.

• Possession of a valid Aircraft Dispatcher (or equivalent Flight Operations Officer) license.
• Proven experience in flight planning, dispatch, or flight operations coordination.
• Strong understanding of meteorology, aerodynamics, and aviation regulations.
• Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in using flight planning software and communication systems.
