Logistics and Dispatch Clerk

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics and Dispatch Clerk to support their operations in Nelspruit . This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our transportation network, involving the coordination of shipments, scheduling of drivers, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods throughout the Mpumalanga region.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong administrative skills, and has a solid understanding of dispatch processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.

• Schedule and coordinate daily dispatch activities for local and regional deliveries.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including waybills and delivery notes.
• Communicate with drivers to relay instructions, updates, and manage schedules.
• Track shipments and provide status updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of all dispatch and delivery information.
• Assist with inventory management and stocktaking as required.

• Previous experience in a logistics , dispatch, or administrative role within the transport industry.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software and general office applications.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with the Nelspruit and surrounding area's logistics landscape.
