Assistant Store​/Warehouse Manager

Assistant Store / Warehouse Manager required in Kuils River.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Stores Manager with the daily management of inventory, warehouse, and stores operations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate stock replenishment to support uninterrupted production.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of materials, spare parts, and consumables.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts and reconciliations.
• Supervise stores personnel, allocate daily tasks, and support staff training and development.
• Liaise with procurement to manage stock requirements and resolve shortages.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company procedures.
• Prepare inventory reports and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and contribute to operational improvements.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12).
• Diploma or Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in stores, warehouse, or inventory management.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, mining, or steel production environment will be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and stock management.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high levels of accuracy.
