Job Purpose
To ensure accurate, safe, and compliant warehouse operations by verifying picked and received stock, maintaining product integrity and traceability, supporting effective stock control, and enforcing health, safety and housekeeping standards in line with Premier FMCG policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate stock handling by verifying quantities, batch numbers, expiry dates, pallet conditions, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain stock control and inventory accuracy through bin card updates, stock counts, cycle counts, and traceability checks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and relevant Premier standards, including allergen control, stock rotation, stacking requirements, and hygiene practices.
- Identify, report, and manage damaged stock and pallets to minimize warehouse losses and ensure correct disposal and accountability.
- Maintain accurate and timely warehouse documentation, including receiving records, picking slips, loading documents, and CHEP pallet transactions.
- Verify accurate receiving and dispatch by confirming correct stock, quantities, labels, pallet counts, and truck allocations before dispatch.
- Coordinate picking and forklift teams to execute picking and put away tasks.
- Ensure loads are properly staged, checked, and documented, including photographic verification where required.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and promote a clean, safe, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment.
- Support compliance with operational, HR, and Invocom requirements, including time and attendance management, equipment inspections, and company procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and achievement of daily operational targets
Experience and Qualifications
- 2-3 years' picker or forklift driver experience in the FMCG environment.
- Matric (Grade 12)

- Ability to identify discrepancies, damages and variances
