Receiving Clerk

About the Role

Our client is looking for a vigilant and organized Receiving Clerk to join their busy warehouse team in Klerksdorp . This role is the first point of contact for incoming goods, ensuring accurate documentation, quality checks, and proper entry into the inventory system. You will be responsible for verifying shipments against purchase orders, identifying damages, and efficiently processing received goods to maintain operational flow.

The ideal candidate is punctual, diligent, and committed to maintaining the integrity of the inbound logistics process.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
• Document all incoming inventory accurately in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Stage received goods for put-away or transfer to appropriate warehouse locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

• Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meticulously check documentation.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry.
• Familiarity with WMS or inventory tracking systems is a plus.
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages of varying weights.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in Klerksdorp .
