Warehouse Associate - Night Shift

About the Role

Our client is looking for a reliable and energetic Warehouse Associate to join their team on the night shift in Klerksdorp . This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of the warehouse, involving the physical handling of goods, order fulfillment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. You will be part of a dedicated team contributing to the efficient flow of products within the supply chain.

The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses a strong work ethic, and is comfortable working during overnight hours within the Logistics & Warehousing sector.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
• Organize and stock merchandise within the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and accessibility.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment according to company standards.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is advantageous but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in a physically demanding role and adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Reliability and punctuality for the assigned night shift schedule.
• Basic understanding of inventory principles and warehouse operations.
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment in Klerksdorp.
