Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy and integrity of stock within their facilities in Klerksdorp . This role is vital for maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing discrepancies, and implementing robust control procedures. You will work closely with warehouse and procurement teams to manage stock movement, conduct regular audits, and utilize inventory management systems effectively.

This hybrid position allows for focused work both on-site and with some remote data analysis capabilities.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
• Manage inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring real-time accuracy.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure timely replenishment and efficient stock rotation.

• Proven experience in inventory control , stock management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
