About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join their facility in Benoni . In this critical role, you will guide and support the daily operations of the warehouse team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all tasks. You will be instrumental in mentoring team members, coordinating workflow, and upholding operational standards. This position offers a blend of hands-on involvement and leadership, contributing to the smooth running of our logistics operations in Gauteng , and fostering a collaborative team spirit.

• Oversee and guide daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Provide direction and support to warehouse associates, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to identify areas for operational improvement.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with at least one year in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks in a warehouse setting.
