About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Inventory Control Specialist for a fully remote position. This role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data across multiple locations. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, reconciling discrepancies, implementing inventory control procedures, and providing analytical support to optimize stock management. Working from home, you will collaborate closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and contribute to efficient inventory planning and control, supporting operations in North West and nationally.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy and precision.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels across all warehouses and storage locations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counting and root cause analysis.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate reports on inventory status, valuation, and turnover for management review.
- Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to manage stock adjustments and returns.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and procedures.
- Proven experience in inventory control , warehouse management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
